President's Club
Each year, the O&P PAC organizes a fundraising dinner for members of Congress who have been supportive of O&P. For each dinner, 5-10 AOPA members make a personal contribution of $1,000 to the member's campaign and spend the evening with the member talking about a variety of issues including health care and the provision of O&P services. The President's Dinners are a unique way to share O&P concerns, get to know a member of Congress and get a congressional update. The dinners have been held since 1994 and have been very successful in getting Congress to understand O&P concerns.
