In 2004, Army Reservist Chris Cummings set up a one-man prosthetic
clinic in the basement of one of Iraq’s palaces. Now, with a
staff of 26 and a new building in the works, the clinic continues to
give civilian
amputees in Iraq hope in the midst of chaos.
