Fillauer POP-Py™
The POP-Py is a combination of the POP (post-operative protector) and a socket pylon. It allows the amputee to load the residual limb with a moderate amount of weight in order to promote wound healing during rehabilitation. The POP-Py is designed for standing only using supplemental balancing aids—parallel bars, crutches, etc.—under the supervision of a health care specialist.
The Fillauer POP is a foam shield designed to aid protection of the residual limb during the first four to eight weeks following amputation.
