    The study, which appeared in the September 2001 issue of Spine, included 102 female patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. According to the results, with the Providence brace “Sixty-three percent of thoracic curves and 65 percent of double curves were successful. Ninety-four percent of lumbar curves were successful, and 93 percent of thoracolumbar curves were successful.”
