2007 AOPA Assembly’s Call for Papers
Deadline is January 31, 2007

(ALEXANDRIA, Va.)—The American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) is seeking clinical and business presenters for the 2007 AOPA National Assembly in Las Vegas (Sept. 17–20, The Venetian Resort, Hotel and Casino). The AOPA National Assembly, the country’s largest O&P trade show, provides an ideal setting for presenters to share experiences with colleagues and gain national recognition for their work.

Types of presentations desired include, but are not limited to:

  • Advanced clinical technologies, artificial intelligence and robotics research
  • Case studies, reports and outcome studies
  • Effective results in and innovative techniques for improving patient care 
  • Reports on new products, components or systems
  • Research in biomechanics
  • Human resources
  • Information Technology
  • Legal Issues
  • Marketing and Public Relations
  • Professional and Personal Development

 Abstracts should be factual and report on significant research findings and case presentations. Other criteria include originality of ideas and methods; specificity of methods and findings; clarity of theoretical and/or applied implications; quality of writing and use of proper abstract format. Eligible presenters will receive a one-day complimentary registration or equivalent credit toward full-conference registration.
