Through advocacy, research, and education, AOPA improves patient access to quality orthotic and prosthetic care.
We achieve this by ensuring our members have the tools needed to build strong O&P businesses that provide excellent patient care.
Members drive advocacy, research, and education.
Advocacy: AOPA is your voice in Washington, advocating for federal policies that protect O&P businesses and preserve patient access to quality care. Through the Co-OP, a coding and policy resource, we monitor insurance trends across the country, assist members with challenging reimbursement policies in their states, and help members become stronger advocates.
Research: Members have access to groundbreaking O&P research. AOPA funds evidence-based research to answer the questions impacting your bottom line and the care you provide to patients.
Education: Online, in-person, clinical and business; you can conveniently earn CE credits as a member. Education opportunities include, monthly webinars, in-person Seminars, the National Assembly and AOPAversity. As a member, you can participate in a free O&P benchmarking survey to strengthen your business, receive free expert coding & billing consultations and network with other professionals and suppliers.
